The Roderick Gay Botanical Garden & Conservancy serves as the official nonprofit partner of the Roderick Gay Botanical Garden, working in collaboration with the City of College Park and Fulton County to provide long-term leadership, stewardship, and organizational management for one of South Metro Atlanta's premier public gardens. Established by official action of the City, the Conservancy provides the governance framework that supports the Garden's continued growth, preservation, and public benefit while ensuring its mission remains focused on environmental education, horticultural excellence, conservation, and community engagement.
CONSERVANCY STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
PLANNED GIVING & FUNDRAISING
Lead planned giving, philanthropy, and fundraising initiatives to secure resources that advance the Garden's long-term vision, growth, and enduring impact for generations to come.
STAFF & VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
Recruit, employ, and manage professional staff and volunteers who oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, visitor services, and educational programming of the Garden.
CONSERVE, STUDY & ENJOY
Promote the conservation, study, and enjoyment of plants through horticultural stewardship, scientific learning, environmental education, research, and public outreach.
Through this strategic public-private partnership, the Roderick Gay Botanical Garden & Conservancy joins forces with Fulton County, the City of College Park, and regional partners to safeguard and enhance the Roderick Gay Botanical Garden. As a top-tier hub for ecotourism and education, it inspires environmental stewardship and community health, nurturing a deep, enduring bond with our natural landscape.
