Through competitive procurement processes, the City of College Park was fortunate to engage highly qualified contractors and professional firms recognized as leaders in their respective industries. Together, these teams are helping ensure that the Botanical Garden is well built, sustainable, responsibly managed, and designed to serve the public for generations.
The Garden’s initial development phase represents a public investment of more than $10 million in infrastructure, construction, engineering, utilities, environmental stewardship, and site improvements, establishing one of South Metro Atlanta’s premier environmental education and ecotourism destinations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Provides overall project management, scheduling, budgeting, construction coordination, reporting, and collaboration among the City, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
PROJECT CIVIL ENGINEER
Responsible for the complete civil engineering design and ongoing construction engineering support while coordinating technical services between the City, consultants, and contractors.
HISTORIC BUILDING RESTORATION
Renovated the Garden's first restored structure and will complete the future Conservancy House renovation while preserving the site's historic character.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER & GENERAL CONTRACTOR
Selected through the City's competitive procurement process to oversee major site construction including roadway improvements, grading, promenade construction, utilities, stormwater infrastructure, retaining walls, demolition, and coordination of specialty subcontractors.
PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE & LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
Prepared architectural concepts for the Welcome Center and Conservancy Office while helping preserve the historic Camp Truitt character and layout.
ARBORIST & TREE CANOPY MANAGEMENT
Completed the comprehensive tree inventory and arboris assessment of approximately 3,000 trees, guiding preservation of significant tree specimens throughout the development.
LEAD ENGINEERING CONSULTANT
Provides civil engineering, roadway design, surveying, environmental testing, utility coordination, stormwater management, and infrastructure engineering for the initial development phase.
CITY ATTORNEY & LEGAL COUNSEL
Provided legal counsel, drafted the Botanical Garden Conservancy Agreement, and oversees land acquisition through eminent domain and negotiated purchase of additional property to support the Garden's development.
ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Responsible for underground electrical utilities, decorative street lighting, transformers, power distribution, and electrical service to major Garden facilities.
